I'm an American who frequently vacations in Mexico. I don't look down on it. There are problems with cartels and such, but that isn't the sum total of what Mexico is anymore than gang shootings in Chicago are the sum total of what the US is. For the most part the people are friendly and welcoming, the food is amazing, there are endless historic and cultural sites to see and beautiful beaches.

After World War II, Poland was doomed to be devoured by the USSR and could not develop until 1991, so that is why Poland was poor for so long, and now you see that if Poland had been covered by the Marshall Plan after the war like Germany, which should not have been since they started the war then Poland would be a more developed country and as rich as Germany and France now, but we cannot forget that Germany is still trying to block everything so that Poland does not develop and become rich so quickly
